An accountant by profession. A business owner by experience.
With a B.Com degree from Stellenbosch University and a career that began in auditing before moving into corporate finance, Hein Loots built his professional foundation around understanding how businesses operate financially.
But his experience extends well beyond the accounting office. Over the years, Hein has owned and operated businesses in industries ranging from stevedoring and hospitality to computer retail.
He's experienced the responsibility of running a business firsthand — managing operations, making financial decisions and navigating the everyday challenges that come with entrepreneurship.
In 1998, Hein began offering bookkeeping services alongside his computer business. What started as an additional service developed into ACT Accounting, an established accounting practice that has continued growing its expertise and capabilities.
His guiding philosophy has remained consistent: provide clients with efficient, effective financial support at an affordable price. Today, Hein leads a trained team with specialist expertise across the practice, combining professional accounting knowledge with practical business understanding.
